Getting to the Festival

EDC Las Vegas 2026 takes place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, located north of the Las Vegas Strip, and getting to the festival can take 2–3 hours during peak traffic times depending on whether you drive, rideshare, or take shuttles. Attendees should plan transportation well in advance and leave earlier than expected, especially on Friday night when freeway congestion is at its worst. It’s also important to note that EDC Will Call and Box Office services are not located at the speedway — all ticket pickup and wristband issues are handled at the World Market Center in downtown Las Vegas.

The main festival grounds at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway have strict security and bag policies, so attendees should prioritize lightweight essentials that improve hydration, phone battery life, hearing protection, and sun exposure management while still complying with Insomniac’s allowed-items guidelines. The packing list below focuses on practical festival essentials recommended by experienced EDC attendees for staying comfortable, safe, and prepared throughout the weekend.

• Your tickets / festival wristbands
• Comfortable Shoes (arch support is everything)
• Portable Phone Charger - (High output 20,000 mAH+ is 4+ full charges, plus built-in cables so you don't lose them. Your friends will LOVE you for having this!)
• Earplugs (we recommend Eargasm Earplugs for superior audio quality, with a with an earplug string or earplug earings so you don't lose them if they fall out)
• Anti-theft Hydration pack or Lightweight Hydration pack (see guidelines below on allowed bag sizes). We recommend hydration packs, as you will probably not want to carry a watr bottle around especially while you're dancing!
• Electrolytes Packets (they must be sealed packets to get through security)
• Sunscreen
• Folding Fan and/or USBC Fan (the heatwave this year means EDC will be HOT during the day!)
• Chilly Pad, Bandana or Towelette (a wet bandana goes a long way to keep you cool during the day)

EDC Week 2026 Events & EDC World Party Parade

EDC weekend extends far beyond the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, with EDC Week 2026 bringing pool parties, nightclub takeovers, artist showcases, and special events across Las Vegas from May 13–19. Official EDC Week events feature many artists performing at the festival itself, giving attendees additional chances to catch exclusive sets throughout the week.

For the 30th anniversary of EDC, Insomniac is also launching the first-ever EDC World Party Parade on Thursday, May 14. The free public event will feature art cars, DJs, performers, and large-scale parade floats traveling along Las Vegas Boulevard ahead of festival weekend.
