Orlando, FL – EDC Orlando this year was nothing short of electric. From the moment you walk through the gates, you’re hit with that unmistakable energy. This really was one of the most PLURR-filled festivals I’ve ever experienced. The community showed UP, and it felt like the entire crowd was there for the love of the music, the art, and each other.
The stages? Insane. Every single one felt like its own universe. Once the sun dipped, EDC transformed into massive beams of light painting the sky, lasers slicing through the air, fireworks shooting above the crowd.
You could feel the bass in your chest and see the glow across Tinker Field from literally anywhere. Some of my favorite sets from the weekend were Crankdat, Beltran, Caspa, and Seven Lions.
The staff also deserves a shoutout. Every interaction I had was positive, and I noticed constant cleanup crews sweeping through, making sure the grounds stayed as clean as possible. Those little details matter, and EDC nailed them.

CONS (Being Real, But On PLURR)
No festival is perfect, and EDC had a few rough spots:
- Crowd surges happened in some tighter areas, but it did seem like people were able to find exits and eventually the crowd was able to dissipate
- Water situation: Only having one GA water station was not it. Hydration shouldn’t be a mission. I’m hoping they bring back multiple stations next year
- Bathrooms: Definitely felt extra grimy this year compared to past fests. More maintenance rotations would go a long way
But even with those hiccups, the freedom, friendliness, and music absolutely outweighed the negatives.

PRO TIPS for Next Year
If you’re pulling up to EDC Orlando in the future, TAKE NOTES:
- Use Pixel Path! It’s a super underrated route that keeps you away from the congested chokepoints
- Verizon users are up. Surprisingly great service all weekend
- Drive to the festival. Seriously… skip the 2–3 hour Uber nightmare. Parking was smoother and faster than any rideshare line I heard about (we also went in “early” around 3pm)
FINAL THOUGHTS
EDC Orlando continues to prove why it’s one of my favorite festivals in the country. The people, the production, the PLURR, the stages… you can feel the love Insomniac puts into this event. Despite the small setbacks, the magic absolutely wins.
I love EDC Orlando! And there’s rumors that Insomniac will be expanding their EDC Orlando festival grounds next year… You can catch my firsthand pov vlog here. I’m so ready for next year already!!
