Thornville, Ohio – Get ready to return to the land before time! Lost Lands Music Festival 2025 is near, and it’s shaping up to be bigger and bassier than ever. This dinosaur paradise erupts with energy on September 19 – 21 in Legend Valley. If you’re not already preparing to break your neck, you’re seriously missing out.
The godfather of bass himself, Excision, created Lost Lands and it’s not just a festival, it’s a movement. This three-day event unites the heaviest hitters in dubstep, riddim, experimental bass, and everything in between. On the festival grounds you’ll find life-sized T-Rexes, Brachiosauruses, Pterodactyls, merch and food vendors, interactive art installations, and fellow headbangers from around the world.
Lost Lands has the largest, most inclusive stages that I’ve ever experienced. The two main stages, Prehistoric and Wompy Woods, each sit at the bottom of a slope. This means that no matter how far back you are, you get a full stage view. Pair that with 1 million watts of bass and 80,000 of the kindest people, what could possibly go wrong? Lastly, we can’t forget about the most important attendee, Becky the Brachiosaurus, the 39 foot gentle giant of Lost Lands.
There are six stages in the festival, two in the market, and one in the campgrounds. Expect once-in-a-lifetime B2B sets, legendary surprise guests, and a lineup stacked with returning fan favorites. This year we’ll be seeing Drinkurwater, Layz, LSZEE, Tape B, Zingara, Excision B2B Subtronics, and many others that you won’t want to miss.
The fun doesn’t stop when the festival grounds close either. Camping at Lost Lands is a rite of passage. Whether you’re rolling in with a tricked-out RV or throwing up your tent in GA, you’re stepping into a 24/7 community of bass-loving degenerates. Late-night renegade sets, campsite raves, and LED-covered dinosaurs roaming through the night… it’s more than camping, it’s a prehistoric party village. And yes: glamping, parking, and shuttles are available too!
Since it’s inception in 2017, Lost Lands has managed to make improvements every year. This year will include more non-alcoholic beverages, a bigger vendor village, and more vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options! Personally, I’m most excited for the Crater Stage’s expansion. If you didn’t know, that’s the stage with 360 degree lasers!

So let’s talk about visuals. Every inch of the festival grounds is designed to transport you into a wub-fueled Jurassic dreamland. The stages are literal art installations featuring massive LED screens, immersive lights, pyro, fireworks AND drone shows that’ll melt your face.
If you’ve never been, 2025 is the year to make the trek. If you’ve been before, you already know the drill. Prepare your neck, pack your totems, bring your best fits, and expect the unexpected.
