OAKDALE, CALIFORNIA — Serenity Gathering is right around the corner and the excitement is sinking in for all of us west coast bass music fans. The Gathering recently dropped their phase three lineup, which features a superfluity of sumptuous sounds to serenade your soul and saturate you in serenity. We’ve handpicked five artists that we are especially psyched for this year. Check out these tasteful tunes below, followed by the full 2018 lineup, as well as discounted tickets!

1. Grouch

Dubby, whimsical, reggae-infuzed artist Grouch provides mind-bending psychedelic sounds with tranquil instrumentals, creating an energetic yet smooth blend of bass music that will help you loosen up on the dance floor.

Thanks for the support 🙂

2. Zion I x lespecial

Zion I is an oakland based hip-hop group consisting of rapper Baba Zumbi and producer Amp Live. With hyphy anthems such as Coastin and Geek to the Beat, as well as Amp Live’s multiple collabs with Bassnectar for Ugly and Mystery Song, Zion I has lots of legendary songs under their belt.

Hailing from Connecticut, lespecial is a band that blends a full spectrum of sounds for a truly far-out experience in contemporary rock. There’s something charmingly special about this unlikely collaboration. You won’t find any studio recordings of this cross-genre amalgamation, but check out this live recording below to get a taste of this rare fusion:

3. Dirtwire

A trio consisting of David Satori of Beats Antique, Mark Reveley and Evan Frasser, Dirtwire takes elements of Americana music to synthesize a bluesy, tribal, and electric vibe.

‘Stranger’ is the first single off our upcoming full length ‘Blaze’, which releases December 1st!

4. The Human Experience

Producer David Block, also known as The Human Experience, explores a vast arrangement of harmonic and granulating sounds in his instrumental and electronic creations. His music varies from eccentric danceable beats to visceral and nostalgic instrumental and vocal renditions. With sounds reminiscent of The Polish Ambassador, his music asserts ethereal synths that encompass tribal drums to create a lively, buoyant and exuberant ordeal.

5. Pumpkin Tribute Live

Though it will never replace the beloved yet late Pumpkin, this tribute will surely be full of emotion and sentiment, considering Pumpkin’s last festival performance before he passed was at Serenity Gathering. If you haven’t heard Pumpkin’s dreamy house music before, we suggest you check him out on SoundCloud.

That about wraps it up for us, make sure to scour that lineup for more delicious surprises, and don’ forget to grab your tickets before they run out or prices go up!
