OAKDALE, CALIFORNIA — Serenity Gathering is right around the corner and the excitement is sinking in for all of us west coast bass music fans. The Gathering recently dropped their phase three lineup, which features a superfluity of sumptuous sounds to serenade your soul and saturate you in serenity. We’ve handpicked five artists that we are especially psyched for this year. Check out these tasteful tunes below, followed by the full 2018 lineup, as well as discounted tickets!

Dubby, whimsical, reggae-infuzed artist Grouch provides mind-bending psychedelic sounds with tranquil instrumentals, creating an energetic yet smooth blend of bass music that will help you loosen up on the dance floor.

2. Zion I x lespecial
Zion I is an oakland based hip-hop group consisting of rapper Baba Zumbi and producer Amp Live. With hyphy anthems such as Coastin and Geek to the Beat, as well as Amp Live’s multiple collabs with Bassnectar for Ugly and Mystery Song, Zion I has lots of legendary songs under their belt.
Hailing from Connecticut, lespecial is a band that blends a full spectrum of sounds for a truly far-out experience in contemporary rock. There’s something charmingly special about this unlikely collaboration. You won’t find any studio recordings of this cross-genre amalgamation, but check out this live recording below to get a taste of this rare fusion:
