Long Pond, PA - If there’s one word to describe this year’s Elements Music & Arts Festival, it’s unforgettable.
In the last 4 years, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing 28 music festivals and never have I felt so satisfied and fulfilled than at Elements. From the moment we stepped onto the festival grounds, it was obvious that Elements was more than just a music festival.
The energy was incredible from start to finish. Security lines into the campgrounds went smoothly. It felt very organized, and the staff was very polite when guiding us to our campsite. Unfortunately, Elements had weather delays on 3 out of the 4 days we were there… but that didn’t stop them from throwing the best festival weekend ever.
DELAYS DIDN'T STOP NO ONE
Before getting into the experience, I have to highlight the fact that Elements was so prepared for the weather. Since most of the grounds are dirt, the rain made it very muddy. Elements laid out, what seemed like a combination of straw and mulch, to cover up the muddy areas where most festival goers would accumulate. This helped SO much.
Because of delays, Elements did their best with pushing the lineup back so we could still see our favorite artists. This also meant extending the closing set times and I really appreciated that they were able to do that. It’s not often you see festivals have backup logistics already planned out - Elements was truly on top of it.
MORE THAN MUSIC
Across the Elements festival and campgrounds you can catch massive art installations, colorful vibe villages, immersive art experiences, and vibrant elemental stages made with intention. My favorite stage was the Air Stage. It was so beautifully placed in between the trees, side tree houses, and sunset on its back. I’m still in awe of how perfect the lasers were hitting the bubbles and reflecting off the treeline.
My absolute favorite part about Elements was the neon forest. Specifically the netted chill areas where we would lay down and RELAX for HOURS. I have never seen anything like that at a music festival. It's the attention to small details and attendee wellness that makes Elements stand out.
When I say Elements has a community on its back, I mean Elements has a COMMUNITY of genuine, wholesome, and welcoming people that I’ve grown to love so much. With EDM becoming more popular, it's hard to find the PLURR community at some festivals. But every person I met at Elements embodied those values and more.
I have never seen campground afters like the ones at Elements. The stages were created with purpose and it was exactly what you’d want for your 2am to 7am vibes. Not too packed, plenty of room to dance and sit, porta potties, feral vibes (in the best way possible), and of course, 24/7 food vendors.
What I really appreciated at Elements that I didn’t realize at other festivals, was the walkability. I stayed in 6/7 camping, which was on the farther end of southside camping, and the walk was easy and not tiring. I also appreciated the paved roads that led into the festival… However, I will definitely be bringing my bike next time.
I WILL BE BACK, ELEMENTS!
Overall, Elements was a game changing experience for me. Everywhere you looked, people were dancing, laughing, meeting new friends, showing off their outfits, creating art, and simply enjoying being present.
There was a sense of freedom throughout Elements that made it incredibly easy to let go of the outside world and live in the moment. I barely recorded any video or even touched my phone and it felt so refreshing.
By the time the final sets wrapped up, it was clear that Elements had delivered another weekend that will be talked about for a long time. It wasn’t just the artists. It wasn’t just the stages. It wasn’t just the art.
It was everything together.
Elements Music & Arts Festival once again proved that the best festival memories aren’t always the ones you expect, they’re the ones that happen when you completely immerse yourself in the experience.
