LOS ANGELES, CA - Redondo Beach just hit a new peak. This past weekend, BeachLife Festival 2026 shattered records with over 40,000 attendees! Friday and Saturday were complete sell-outs, cementing this as the biggest year in the festival's history.
Clean, Chic, and Coastal Vibes
Walking through the gates, the first thing you notice isn't just the music but the atmosphere. BeachLife felt like a premium and polished experience. We are talking super clean grounds, a respectful and good-energy crowd, and families of all ages living their best lives. We even managed to snag a tour of a high-end RV on-site, which added a touch of luxury to the sandy trek.
Here is a secret tip to survive the beach heat: Cove Soda and Hopwtr gave out endless free non-alcoholic sparkling drinks to keep the heat at bay while we explored the grounds. The absolute MVP of the weekend had to be the sushi burritos paired with smooth Jack Danielâs cocktails. Between sets, there were plenty of curated merch shops featuring local designers and exclusive gear to check out. Sliding in our wish list for the guitar from Slightly Stoopid!

Main Stage Magic
The music programming this year was a masterclass in variety, and the setup made it easy to catch everything. On Friday, Grouplove took over the main stage. When the opening chords of "Tongue Tied" hit, it was pure heartwarming energy that brought together people from every walk of life. It is the perfect festival for a picnic layout since you can actually claim a spot on the grass and enjoy the main stage sets without the usual crowd chaos.
Following the indie energy, the Friday night main stage reached a fever pitch with Duran Duran. Closing out the first night of the festival with "Hungry Like the Wolf," the energy was tectonic. It was a crazy, high-voltage start to the weekend that set the bar incredibly high for the days to follow.

Music on the Beach
If you wanted the ultimate beach vibe, the Sea Tide Stage was the heart of the festival. This is where The Chainsmokers brought their EDM and pop energy right to the water's edge. If you were looking for that youthful, emotional, dancey vibe, this was it. They played every single hit on the top playlist including "Closer," "Something Just Like This," and "I Need a Miracle," and seeing that level of production on the beach was a special treat.

The Sea Tide Stage also hosted BĂžrns, who delivered a set full of beautiful, melancholic songs like "On My Past Life," "One and Only," and "Donât You Remember". Hearing those tracks with the actual ocean tide in the background was an absolute mood. While wandering near the sand, we also caught those massive Fiji Airways giveaways, which added to the high-end feel of the weekend for a free tropical giveaway draw!
Legends Only: The Closing Acts
The weekend continued to deliver with rock icon Joan Jett & The Blackhearts captivating the crowd with "Bad Reputation," while Sunday featured a groovy Latin set from the Buena Vista Orchestra and a daytime disco set from Poolside. There was even a Poolside afterparty at the California Surf Club, which was total disco heaven. The festival wrapped up with a lively, hit-packed set from the legendary Sheryl Crow, providing a perfect end to a historic weekend.

Community and Impact
Beyond the music, BeachLife continues to be a force for good. The Evening By the Sea charity gala raised over $150,000 for partners like Heal the Bay and the Surfrider Foundation. As co-founder Rob Lissner mentioned, "givingback to the community has been at the heart of BeachLife Festival since the very beginning,â.
It really felt like the team hit their stride this year. With the dates already set for April 30th - May 2nd, 2027, this flagship event in Redondo Beach is only getting better.
