Polo & Pan, Magdalena Bay, Chris Lake, The Backseat Lovers, and more head to San Luis Obispo This Weekend - here's everything you need to know before you go
San Luis Obispo, CA - Shabang Festival is back May 2–3, 2026, and San Luis Obispo's favorite homegrown music weekend is shaping up to be the best one yet. Both days run 2 PM to 11 PM at the scenic Dairy Creek Golf Course in SLO, with music kicking off right at 2 PM each day. Directions and Parking
The festival takes place at Dairy Creek Golf Course, 2990 Dairy Creek Rd, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405. There is no parking at the venue itself. Instead, parking is available at Cuesta College for $25 per car per day. If you use a rideshare, have your driver drop you off at El Chorro Campgrounds. Better yet, skip the parking hassle altogether and grab a shuttle pass here.
Shabang makes it easy to skip the car entirely. Party Shuttles run round-trip from Campus Bottle and Cal Poly. Purchase a Shuttle Pass, pick your departure window, and ride straight to the entrance. You can hop the return shuttle at any time; the last shuttle departs at 11:30 PM both nights.
Need something more custom? Private Shuttles fit up to 14 passengers with pick-up and drop-off at a location of your choosing in SLO, Los Osos, or Morro Bay. Both shuttle options are available through the ticketing platform.
Prefer public transit? Take SoCo Transit's 12S line from SLO, Los Osos, or Morro Bay and hop off at the Cuesta College stop, just a 10-minute walk from the venue.
Set Times
Hours: Both Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 run 2 PM – 11 PM, with music starting at 2 PM. Full set times for both days are posted at shabangslo.com/lineup. Note that there is no re-entry, so once you leave the grounds, you're out for the day, so plan accordingly.

Afterparty
The party doesn't stop when the festival ends. Official Shabang afters are happening Saturday, May 2 starting at 10:30 PM at Milestone Tavern. This is a 21+ event.

Food, Drinks, and Water
Multiple bars throughout the grounds serve cocktails, beer, seltzers, and non-alcoholic options. Cards only, no cash at the bars. Tickets
Tickets are on sale now at posh.vip/e/shabang-2026. Payment plans are available all the way up until the festival. Just select "Payment Plan" at checkout. All sales are final; no refunds. Kids and adults alike are welcome, as Shabang is an all-ages event.
