Austin, TX — As the weather warms up and you find yourself itchin’ for those festival vibes, it can be somewhat of an overwhelming decision when trying to decide which festival to kickoff your festi-season with. Some of them are expensive, some are far away and some just don’t fit the vibe you’re really looking for. With a lot of the hype coming from the big festivals like Ultra, SXSW and Coachella during the spring, there’s one festival that particularly stood out from the pack for us this year—and that’s Euphoria Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
For those of you that haven’t heard or are still trying to decide which festival to kickstart your festi-season, we seriously advise you to consider Euphoria, and here are six reasons why...
6.) It’s a camping festival, with unique camping options
Euphoria offers upgraded camping experiences where you can use and TAKE HOME an exclusive Tentsile tree tent. SERIOUSLY, HOW COOL ARE THESE??
'Next Level' Tentsile Camping packages include a Tentsile Stingray tent + rainfly for you to keep, along with a private tree campsite (pre-setup for your arrival), camping amenities and exclusive access to your suspended festival home. You can find more info on this package HERE.
They also have new additional upgraded camping experiences for 2016. EnlighTENTment (by ConTENTment) camping packages are European-style Bell tents that are set up for your arrival in a reserved luxury camping area. Reserve an EnlighTENTment camping package for the weekend for the easiest Euphoria camping experience. Options include accommodations for either two or four people, with cots, twins or queen beds. More info on these HERE.
For those of you wishing to go the more traditional route, Euphoria recently released a limited amount of additional GA camping passes (after previously selling out) that you can purchase with your ticket or separately HERE.
Refresh your mind, body and soul with Austin's very own Sukha Yoga—curating a daily yoga program for Euphoria’s fifth year anniversary.
Morning classes (10 am) are exclusively for campers and will be held in the campgrounds. Afternoon (12 noon) classes will be set to music and are open to all festival attendees.

This workshop attempts to challenge participants’ assumptions about food. What is food? What is it for? The workshop also attempts to highlight some of the more fascinating and beautiful aspects of food and health. Lastly, the goal of this workshop is to highlight social, cultural and environmental sustainability issues related to food. Compared to the other major festivals that cost upwards of $400 per GA ticket, Euphoria offers affordable payment plans, and competitive pricing—this way you can enjoy yourself and spend more at the awesome food and art vendors that come from across the country. Euphoria's fair pricing structure allows you to choose the best option for you, with affordable options for everyone.
- Standard 3-Day GA Passes (without camping) go for $169 + fees
- 4-Day GA Passes WITH Camping go for $249 + fees
- Single Day Tickets go for as little as $64 + fees
- There are VIP options available and competitively priced as well
On top of affordable ticket costs, if you can find a ride from Dallas to Austin, FLIGHTS ARE INSANELY CHEAP to Dallas from most major cities. We bought round-trip tickets from Minneapolis to Dallas for only $95. How's that for a bargain?
2.) Stages & Production
Euphoria offers some state-of-the-art production for an ultimate music festival experience. They position their stages in close proximity, but not to the point where they are competing for sound or overlapping.
The most unique stage would be the infamous "Dragonfly" stage--nestled alongside and overlooking the beautiful Colorado River. At this stage you can watch in astonishment as they visually project lighting and images along the trees across the river.
1.) The Lineup
Euphoria's lineup for their 5th year anniversary has us completely sold. If there's one theme we noticed right off the bat, that theme would be DIVERSITY. Whether you're into house music, bass, hip-hop, jam bands or anything in between—Euphoria offers a full scope of talented musicians to satisfy those starving ears.
With headliners like Bassnectar, STS9, Above & Beyond, Dillon Francis, Eric Prydz, and Cherub there's no chance you will leave disappointed. However, more importantly though, the meat and potatoes of the lineup is where you notice the real talent behind the lineup curators and tastemakers. This is why Euphoria is known as Texas' biggest and best electronic music festival.
All schedule/pricing content and media are property of Euphoria Music Festival, unless otherwise noted.
